Dungeon Settlers Hub is an independent companion for players who want a clear answer, the version it applies to, and somewhere to check it.
Useful, specific, traceable.
We start with a player’s question and keep the answer within what the source actually supports. An official description of Portrait Lock can explain the appearance option. It cannot establish a population cap or a recruitment cost.
Our first field notes draw on CanOpener’s v0.4.17 announcement, checked on 6 September 2026. We distinguish those documented behaviors from independent gameplay tests and from our own editorial suggestions.
